HSCC Secures Rs.1261 Crore Project for AIIMS Darbhanga
HSCC India Limited is a subsidiary of NBCC (India) Limited. The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has chosen it to lead the construction of AIIMS Darbhanga.
This project is valued at ₹1261 crore. It is one of the largest healthcare initiatives in India. It aims to provide top-quality medical care and education.
World-Class Healthcare in Bihar
AIIMS Darbhanga is set to be a major healthcare hub, serving Bihar and surrounding regions. The project will feature a state-of-the-art hospital, a medical college, an AYUSH hospital, and residential facilities for students and staff. Covering 188 acres with over 2.25 lakh square meters of construction, the institute will offer advanced medical services at affordable costs.
Expanding Healthcare Infrastructure
The construction of AIIMS Darbhanga is part of the government’s mission to improve healthcare access. This is achieved by building All India Institutes of Medical Sciences across the country.
Announced in 2019, AIIMS Darbhanga will provide specialized patient care, medical education, and research opportunities. The project will help address local healthcare challenges and foster the growth of healthcare professionals in the region.
