Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (KIAB/BLR Airport) has introduced a groundbreaking Aerial View Display (AVD) System, marking a first for Indian airports. This advanced system offers real-time, centralized monitoring of all airside activities, including flight movements, ground vehicle coordination, and emergency responses, through a unified dashboard.
The AVD System is designed to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Key features include advanced flight tracking, ground vehicle monitoring, collaborative decision-making (CDM) milestones, and proactive emergency alerts. By optimizing taxi times and reducing delays, the system ensures smoother operations, improved on-time performance (OTP), and energy savings.
